Our focus will be on writing poetry, short fiction, and the territory between these genres.  Part of our class time will be spent on warm up exercises and discussions of technique.  Because writing time is scarce, you will have the opportunity in class to work on your assignments.  We will also spend time workshopping and sharing our works in progress.
